Looping animations in one click. No keyframes. Ever. Blender has no equivalent to this. Loop Forge drives any property with procedural, perfectly-looping motion β no keyframes, no graph editor, no maths. Select an object. Click a preset. Press play. It loops forever. What it actually does Pick something you want to move. Click Jump, Hover, Spin, Wobble or Vibrate. That's the whole workflow. The motion loops seamlessly, forever, with no keyframes anywhere in your scene. Then make it yours: π Spring Physics Real damped-spring overshoot on a single slider. Drag Springiness up and your motion swings past the target and settles naturally, like actual physics. Drag Decay to control how long it keeps ringing. This isn't a fake elastic curve β it's a real oscillator. π Visual Curve Picker 31 easing curves, every one shown as an actual graph you can see before you pick it. Choose a direction (In / Out / In-Out), then pick the shape by looking at it β not by decoding a name like "Quint In/Out." βοΈ Draw Your Own Curve Not happy with any preset? Draw the exact motion curve by hand with Blender's native curve widget. It overrides the presets instantly, and you can go back any time. π Falloff β animate 40 objects by moving one Empty Drop an Empty into your scene and motion ripples outward from it like a wave. Or fade motion off with distance so your hero product stays still while everything around it comes alive. One click wires it to an entire selection. π Live Motion Graph See exactly what your object will do β waveform, easing and spring all combined β before you scrub a single frame. π― Ping Pong Goes out and comes home. Mathematically guaranteed to land exactly where it started, every cycle. No drift, ever. Forge (almost) anything Location Β· Rotation Β· Scale Β· Bones Β· Shape Keys Β· Light power & colour Β· Material values (roughness, metallic, emission, alpha, IOR) Β· Modifier values Β· Geometry Node inputs Β· Curve bevel Β· Constraint influence Β· World background & mist Or just right-click any property in Blender and choose Add Motion Forge. Yes β that includes character rigs. Forge a neck bone to headbang to music, or a tail to sway, in about ten seconds. Built for people who don't want to animate 8 waveforms β Sine, Noise, Triangle, Saw, Square, Pulse, Bounce, Spin. Each one explains what it does and when to use it, right in the panel. 8 one-click light presets β Candle, Neon Glitch, Strobe, Emergency, and more. Save your own presets β build a motion you love, reuse it in every project forever. Stagger & Collection Forge β instant domino effects across many objects. BPM sync β lock any motion to a tempo. Bake to keyframes β hand off to a client, export to game engines, or take manual control. One click, fully reversible. Motion blur works properly β sub-frame evaluation is built in, so your renders blur correctly. Why not just use keyframes? Because a perfect loop is genuinely hard to keyframe by hand. Matching your first and last frame exactly, keeping the timing even, and doing it across 40 objects β that's an afternoon. Loop Forge is one click, and it's mathematicallyseamless rather than eyeballed. And when you're done, you can bake it to real keyframes anyway. Requirements Blender 4.2 or newer (tested through 5.1) Works on Windows, macOS and Linux No dependencies, no account, no internet connection needed FAQ: Do I need to know how to animate? No. That's the entire point. If you can select an object and click a button, you can use Loop Forge. There's no graph editor, no keyframes, and no timeline work required. Which Blender versions does it work with? Blender 4.2 and newer. It's been tested through Blender 5.1. It will not work on 3.x. Does this replace keyframe animation? No, and it isn't trying to. Loop Forge is for procedural, repeating, ambient motion β floating, spinning, pulsing, bouncing, rippling. For character performance and storytelling, you still want keyframes. Plenty of people use both in the same scene. Can I still use my own keyframes alongside it? Yes. Loop Forge writes its motion on top of whatever's already there and never modifies your keyframes. There's also a Rest Value control so you can set exactly where an object sits when the motion is at zero. Does it work on character rigs / bones? Yes. Pick any bone and drive its location, rotation or scale. A neck bone headbanging to a beat, a tail swaying, a mechanical part oscillating β all a few clicks. Note it drives bones in their own local space, exactly like keying them manually would. Can I export this to Unreal / Unity / a game engine? Not directly as procedural motion β but click Bake to Keyframes and you get real, standard Blender keyframes that export like any other animation. Un-baking is one click too. Will it slow down my scene? For transforms, lights, and materials β no, it's very light. Shape Key forges on very dense meshes are the one case that costs real performance; bake those once you're happy with them. Does it work with motion blur? Yes. The add-on evaluates at sub-frame precision specifically so renderers can calculate blur properly. Does it work on render farms / background renders? It writes values on Blender's render handlers as well as in the viewport, which is what background and CLI rendering needs. As with any add-on, do one short test render on your own pipeline before committing to a long job. How is this different from free looping add-ons? Most free tools work on animation you've already keyframed β they help make existing F-curves loop, and they live in the graph editor. Loop Forge is the opposite: you never make keyframes at all. Different job, different user. If you want to fix a hand-animated cycle, a graph-editor tool is the right choice. If you don't want to animate in the first place, that's this. Is it a subscription? No. Pay once, own it, free updates. Can I use it commercially? Yes β client work, products, films, games, anything. No royalties. Can I share it with my studio / team? One purchase per artist, please. If you need a team or studio licence, message me and I'll sort you out. What's the licence? The add-on code is GPL, as Blender requires all add-ons to be. Your purchase covers the packaged product, documentation, support and updates. Refunds? If it genuinely doesn't do what this page says it does, message me and I'll refund you. I'd rather fix the problem, though β tell me what broke and I'll usually patch it fast. Will it keep getting updates? Yes. It's part of an active series and I use it in my own client work, so it gets fixed and improved as I go. I installed it but I can't find it. Press N in the 3D viewport to open the sidebar, then look for the Loop Forge tab. If you've just updated from an older version, fully quit and reopen Blender β Blender sometimes keeps the old version cached.
